The Children’s Heart Foundation, Oregon Chapter, is a group made up of all volunteers who are dedicated to raising awareness of Congenital Heart Defects, and raising money for the national effort to fund the most promising research to help improve the lives of children and families affected.  To help raise awareness and funds to support research we host a few fun events each year.

wine rides CHF Wine Rides, presented by Bike Gallery:   Join us for a ride June 26th and September 25 for our lovely wine rides, featuring quiet, rural roads, acclaimed Northern Willamette Valley wineries and beautiful wine country. Tours are fully supported and include a gourmet lunch, wine-tasting and are capped at 100 riders. Rides are approximately 30 miles of rolling terrain. Please join us.

Can’t make it to the Wine Rides?  We have other great opportunities to get involved through a few other fun events throughout the year including:

Heart Walk:  Come join CHF-OR and the ACHA Sept 17th  ’16.  Register your team, and raise money for CHD research.  This is the chance for our heart kids and their friends and families to make a difference!

Get ready for another great Vinolympics in Feb ’17, “Vie for the gold” in events that test your palate, general wine knowledge and physical coordination. This is a fun, casual, and totally un-snooty ‘wine-tasting meets carnival’ event. Medal winners will receive lots of – you guessed it- bottles of wine!  Again planned for the great space at the Theory Ballroom at OMSI, Cocktail attire and music will be added to our wine–themed games to create an event you don’t want to miss!

We know this is important work, and we can have fun while we achieve it together.  We can make a difference through the efforts of dedicated volunteers and sponsors like our signature sponsor:
