The Children’s Heart Foundation, Oregon Chapter, is a group made up of all volunteers who are dedicated to raising awareness of Congenital Heart Defect, and raising money for the national effort to fund the most promising research to help improve the lives of children and families affected.
The Oregon Chapter was formed by Joe and Aimee Mooney and a group of their friends and family, shortly after their son Finn was born with a CHD. Aimee and Joe once asked Finn’s doctor how the they could help and how they could get involved, and he had one answer – fund research. With the advances in surgery that has been funded in recent decades, children’s hearts can be repaired.
